John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Three and a half years ago, the Lord called Cheryl and I to Kenya, specifically to make disciples and that our fruit should remain. Within the 1st week of entering Kenya we started the ministry with a bible study in the dirt road. From that small group, our ministry grew to 6 churches and 5 Bible Schools, with over 160 disciples, 130 water baptisms, over 2000 salvations and countless miracles.

This feature image is our celebration and ordination of Pastors and Leaders within our ministry. We licensed and ordained 24 trained ministers of the Gospel, who are ready to take over the ministry we have started. We were so thankful to the Lord for sending these wonderful ministers to take the lead and continue on with what God ordered us to do. These ministers have proven their love and faithfulness to the Lord and are ready to be on their own.

Children’s Church and Leaders

This was our last service with our Church and the children. They were pointing “up” to Jesus their savior and waiving goodbye to us as we leave for the USA and then on to Ukraine where God has called us. Our ministry started with about 4 kids and has grown considerably. Many people have now moved into our area and the Church is ready to grow.

UKRAINE

Now the Lord has called Cheryl and I to Ukraine in 2024. We will be staying in the USA working and ministering, saving up for our trip. Back in February, the Lord impressed upon me that something was changing in our ministry, and I knew change was ahead of us, but I didn’t know what it was. Then in May the Lord spoke distinctly to me as I was asking Him about our future. Then the Lord revealed our time in Kenya would end in 2022. So now we are embarking on a journey of shifting and change back in the USA, looking for work and adjusting to a new schedule and way of life. We thank God for America, as it is the greatest country in the world.

We will miss our Church family and friends so very much. We fell in love with God’s people in Kenya, as they are caring and loving to us and to the Lord. We have developed rich relationships and true friends in the ministry and in the community. The Kamba people of Miwani, Machakos have come to love us and trust us as true missionaries of God. Our landlord of the Church property made a comment to our Pastors and Leaders. She said, “Everyone in this community knows the only reason you are here is to preach the gospel”. I thought that was the most wonderful compliment I could have ever received in my life. This woman is not even saved, and yet she and the rest of Miwani knows our sole purpose is about Jesus!

Early Christmas for the Children

We left before Christmas, therefore, we had to give out gifts early this year. The children were so happy to receive our yearly Christmas gift giving. These children usually never even get a birthday cake, much less a gift at Christmas. Most of these children wear clothing that is worn out and many of these have clothing we gave them. Poverty is excessive every direction you choose to walk, especially with the economic recession around the world and the war in Russia and Ukraine. But these children are so excited and thankful to receive their gift bag.

We thank each and every one of our supporters who contributed to our ministry- You have made such a difference in the lives of these children and in the community. You have helped us to enable many families and these children to grow and continue with their schooling and education. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts- You are awesome! We pray God’s abundant blessings upon you forever and ever!
