Luke 24:6 He is not here, but is risen……….. About 5 years ago we visited the Garden Tomb in Israel and witnessed that Jesus is indeed not in the grave, HE IS ALIVE. The miracle of the resurrection is available to all who believe. Jerry and I would like to join in the joyful celebration of our Lord’s victory over death and the grave with you all. This is our hope that we put faith in, that death has no power over us if we are in Christ Jesus. Amen
Sonrise Services in Radium Springs, New Mexico
Jerry has been invited to preach the Easter message at our friend’s home church, Upcycle Ministries. Pastor Gene Pettit and his wife Elia will be setting up a tent for an outside service to celebrate a sunrise service on Resurrection Sunday morning. Elia wanted everyone to know that the spelling of Sonrise was on purpose, it is all about God’s son Jesus Christ. We are praying for a large crowd to show up. Recently we went out evangelizing door to door in Radium Springs to invite people to come to the services. We were able to meet many new people and pray for many of their needs.
During this season in our lives, the Lord has opening many opportunities for us to minister at many churches. Recently the Jerry used his Spanish skills to preach a Pastor Emilia Barraza’s church Iglesia Filadelfia, in Hatch. Last Sunday he also brought the message at the Salem Baptist church. He is ready in season and out of season to preach. 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. His exhortation to the churches this year is we have to be in the battle. It may be difficult for many Christians to get out of their comfort zone and stand up for the truth in an America that has been deceived by the wicked one. If we don’t obey the Lord in this, who will be fighting for the truth that is found in God’s Word? The Lord is calling us to be soldiers in his army. Are we prepared and ready or complacent? Iglesia Filadelfia will be holding an outdoor crusade in Hatch, with other churches joining with them to reach our community for Christ. Jerry has been invited to preach the week of April 24.
