Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. During a recent outreach in our town of Hatch, NM., we encountered a car show and just had to stop for a few minutes to speak to a few people about Jesus. We have been called as Christians to evangelize and be the light in this dark world. It is not easy to counteract the culture and the world with the Word of God, but we persist. We also had the opportunity to go to the mall in Las Cruces with another brother in Christ recently to speak to people and remind them about salvation. We were able to pray with many people and even had a profession of faith by a young girl who worked there. Jerry provided her with a Bible. Our brother observed that the Church is not getting out of the four walls to reach the lost for Christ. The harvest is great, but the workers are few.

YOUTH CENTER OF HATCH

While the Youth Center of Hatch has seen very little traffic over the last year, we have had success with a few children in our ministry of teaching music. Cheryl has been teaching piano lessons and Jerry guitar lessons. We do this free of charge to children that could not otherwise afford this. We have to say that these children are very talented and desire to play for the Lord in their church. It is amazing to see the progress that they have made over the last months, and it encourages us to enable them to praise and worship God in this manner. We are planning the transition as our mission to Ukraine approaches. We are still praying about the future of this facility. We are holding a Culture Impact Group on Thursday nights for adults with Bible study and fellowship from 6-8 pm. weekly. We are so grateful for the use of the Church of God facilities that God opened up when we came back to the United States last year.

Grace Nations of El Paso: Church Planting Continues

Over the last few months, we have had the opportunity to plant a church in El Paso under the Life Changing Truth Ministry. The Lord directed us to do this here in the USA while we were in the process of teaching discipleship classes to a Pastor in La Mesa, NM. He introduced us to his friend and pastor in El Paso, who had the desire to start a church, but needed direction and instruction. Jerry has been spending Sunday-Tuesday at their facility in El Paso, teaching them fundamentals in :Ten Critical Training Courses For Churches/Policy and Procedure Model for Churches, that he wrote in 2022 in Kenya for our church plants there. This is giving our Pastors Wally Ramirez and Tony Reyes the foundation that they need to have success in their divinely inspired desire to reach, preach, and teach others for the work of the ministry. We have been joined by another church leader Dashia, who is excited to study with us.

Visiting Our Disciples in Missouri

On a recent trip to Missouri, we were able to fellowship with 2 of our disciples Jeremy and Juanita Coleson. They took Jerry’s discipleship class back in 2018-2019 and have gone on to teach others as well. We are very proud of their desire to continue teaching the Word of God. They recently moved to a larger home to accommodate the 10 people that come to their home on Tuesday nights to have Bible studies and fellowship with fellow believers. They are also on our board for the ministry and we welcomed new board members, Tony and Cynthia Reyes in a formal meeting held while we were there. We also were able to see family in Kansas, and visit a former church member Max Maples in De Soto. We spent some time as well with Rev. David Nzioka, the Kenyan-American Pastor that allowed us to stay in his home while we were in Kenya. He was our divine connection to our covering under the Fountain of Life Church under Rev. Rafael Saitoti. It was a wonderful trip.

Kenya Mission Grows Daily

We are excited to report that many of our past Bible School Graduates in Kenya and Tanzania have gone on to open Schools to teach our curriculum for certificate and diploma. The Fountain of Life Church and continues to plant churches all over Kenya. We are so thankful to these good and faithful servants of God, that are continuing in the Word to fulfill the Great Commission. John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
